The Garden Grant challenges the institution of philanthropy as it stands, simply by existing as it does. Our applications are deliberately accessible, because we believe in deploying funding as efficiently as possible, and we don't believe in making people jump through a million hoops for funding.
We aim to: 1. Educate individuals on how to be more effective and informed philanthropists. 2. Inspire veteran philanthropists to critically re-examine and possibly change current grantmaking standards.
